Story
Hi my name’s Rebecca, i’m the mother of a totally awesome 4 year old who attends Brooklands School. I’m going to do a sponsored Skydive for the most amazing charity Friends of Brooklands School FOBS who help provide the specialist equipment and resources for our gorgeous children that have severe or profound & multiple learning difficulties.
The charity raises money that is unfortunately not accessible through the constraints of a constantly tightening school budget.
I’m terrified of heights but really want to do something that I hope people will get behind. My son has Autism, developmental delay, communication difficulties and sensory issues, I see the challenges he and many others face on a daily basis, you’re support can make the lives of these incredible children a bit more comfortable.
Currently FOBS are raising money for:
. A mini Bus
. A wheelchair swing
. AstroTurf
A Safe Space for their outdoor classroom
The Safe-space is designed for those with autism, epilepsy, behaviours which challenge and profound multiple learning difficulties, including for those with full mobility. It provides a space in which someone can sleep, move, roll or play freely, reducing the risk of injury by eliminating hard surfaces. The quote given for the safe space is £7,339.10
Thank you so much for showing an interest in supporting Brooklands.
PLEASE PLEASE can you help by sharing and sponsoring me to raise money for this amazing charity! I will be jumping from a plane at 12,000ft. The skydive has been payed out of my own money so all money raised will go to FOBS.
