Story
Along with three teams of runners from within 29 Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Search Group I have taken the challenge of running the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington DC on 28 Oct 12. One incredibly courageous member of the team will be attempting to break the world record by completing the marathon whilst wearing a bomb disposal suit. Our chosen charity is the Felix Fund - The Bomb Disposal Charity and this is my attempt to raise money for a cause that brings respite and relief to Bomb Disposal team members and their families. Having been closely involved in the Bomb Disposal community in my current job for the last 12 months it is a cause very close to my heart.
Thanks to the generosity of the Allied Forces Foundation (a US based charity) who are covering our administrative costs, every £ you donate will go directly to the Felix Fund. Every runner has pledged to raise £1000 - please help me to match or even better this target.
