When I was 13 my Dad suddenly died from a heart attack. It was a complete shock to both me and my family and it broke the hearts of many people. We found out that my Dad had coronary artery disease after he had died and hopefully we can help others fight this.

I now feel that I'm old enough to start raising money for the British Heart Foundation in memory of my Dad to help others who are in the same situation as he was.

On the 16th May 2012, I will be running 10 miles from Crossens to Ormskirk. This is a great challenge for me as I am not a very good long distance runner and I hope you can all see how big a challenge it is.

I hope you can all give generously to help me raise as much money as I can and also to show awareness that this is a serious issue and should not be ignored.
