Story
Hey guys and girls!
I am taking part in Sheffield Univesity's BUMMIT this Easter (March 22nd-29th 2010), which is a SPONSORED HITCHIKE ACROSS EUROPE; raising money for both local and international charities.
We have an extra challenge- to spend no more than £15 on the journey- which is at least 1000 miles. (or 1600 kilometres for you metric folk) Yikes! This means we have to beg, blag or borrow lifts for the journey, including getting across the Channel. Fun times ahead I feel!
Basically my point is it would be AWESOME if you could spare a bit of change for this cause- my aim is to raise at least £200 for charity...
Think of it as your good deed for the day!
Thanks in advance dudes,
Becca xx
SOME OF THE CHARITIES BEING DONATED TO INCLUDE:
1)Anthony Nolan trust (bone marrow/ blood stem cells transplants for Leukemia suffers)
2) Parkinsons Disease society
3) Kids Company (Organisation working therapeutically with vulnerable children and young people.)
4) Cavendish Cancer Centre (Provides care and support to people with cancer and their families, including children.)
