In March a group of friends and I, along with other members of the Leeds RAG society (the student led fundraising society of Leeds University Union) will be trekking the 17,589 ft up to Mount Everest base camp in order to raise money for the Child Welfare Scheme! I aim to raise at least £800 which will all go straight to the charity which supports disadvantaged and vulnerable children in Nepal, providing healthcare, education and social support etc. Any donations would help the lives of so many children, and all are very appreciated.
