Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My nan currently has dementia, and I've lost both a nan and a more recently a grandad with the disease. I worked for many years caring for people with dementia but having personal experience of watching those who I love suffer from the disease has made me want to help raise money for a charity that offers support to not only the person with dementia but also their families. So over 5 weekends between the 29th April and the 10th September I'm aiming to complete the Ultra Challenge Series - 5 x 100km walks. The first kicks off over 29th / 30th April around the Isle of Wight, then 27th / 28th May I'll walk from London to Brighton, 1st / 2nd July I'll walk the Cotswold Way, 26th / 27th August I'll be on the South Coast and finally the 9th / 10th September I'll be walking the Thames. Any donations large or small would be greatly appreciated and will make all the blisters worthwhile!
