My father had Dementia for the final 11 years of his life.  I cared for my father at home during this time.  Dementia forward are a locally based charity covering North Yorkshire and East Yorkshire.  the charity provided me with support in my caring role,  especially during the difficult period during Covid and the last months of my fathers life.  The charity plans to open a base for their support work and a Day Centre in my fathers home town Pocklington.  This will be much needed support for people living with Dementia in Pocklington and their families.  Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
