<p><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">Sometimes its hard to explain why we choose to do something, especially climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in 24 hrs -that includes driving in between!- which is a huge challenge for the fit and a scary prospect for me.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-family: TT20Ft00; font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: TT20Ft00; font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black; font-size: 11pt;">Motor Neurone Disease is a horrid disease that leads to weakness and wasting of muscles, causing loss of mobility, difficulties with speech, swallowing and breathing, before finally robbing you of your life. All this time your brain remains normal!!! MND kills 5 people every day in the UK and leaves people unable to walk, talk or feed themselves. It is fatal with no known cure and kills half of those diagnosed within 14 months.</span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black; font-size: 11pt;">Last year a very special friend of mine since childhood, Vanessa, lost her mum to MND. Just 6 months from diagnoses Shirley was gone. Vanessa asked we raise money in Shirley’s memory, to help gain understanding of this awful illness that degrades its victims before robbing them of life. So we (and 3 other friends) are putting our minds and bodies to the test by taking on the grueling challenge of the 3 peaks.</span></p>
