Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the 18th September 2005, my two Sisters, Brother and our Dad, lost an amazing Mother and Wife to a terminal illness. Our Mum had a brain tumour and we only had a few short months to be with her and say our goodbyes. The Prince of Wales Hospice cared for our Mum in her final weeks and despite it being the hardest thing any of us has ever had to deal with, the Hospice made us feel safe and our Mum comfortable. And although the memories of that time of our lives are very blurred and hazy, it is that time spent as a family at the Hospice that is the clearest memory.
That is why on 10 years to the date our Mum died, we have cast all fear aside and participating in this death defying event in memory of our Mum and to raise a shed load of money for the most amazing charity i know!!
So, this is for you Mum...gone but never forgotten. I hope you can hear our screams!!!!
