Story
It’s the 10th of July and Tom and I have just found out we’ll be taking part in Tough Mudder in little over a month.
For those unaware, Tough Mudder is 10 miles of excruciating pain, where you’re required to not only cover the distance but also throw wade through rivers, throw yourself over walls and dive through electric fences. All sounds exciting doesn’t it?
Now for a girl that can’t even do a push up and a 15 year old boy that hasn’t ever ran more than a 10km this is going to be one hell of a challenge.
So why are we doing it?
We are doing this to support Allsorts, which is a Gloucestershire based charity which supports our family and our brother, Harry. Harry is autistic and has learning difficulties. Allsorts provides opportunities and support to families with a child or young person with a disability or additional need. Harry attends their youth club, sports activities as well as trips out. Allsorts also provides a whole range of activities including parent support groups, specialist toy library and a young adults group which Harry will soon be accessing.
We really want to raise at least £400 to give something back to this fantastic charity and would appreciate any donation you can make, however small!
