I have been writing poetry for over half of my life and in the past year I've started performing at open mic nights in Sheffield. I saw about this event on Facebook and thought it was a great opportunity to perform in front of a slightly differe audience to the isual crowd who regularly attend local poetry nights while raising money for such an excellent local charity.
