I´m feel honor that I´ve been one of the 16,000 Shiners this year and managed to reach the ambitious target set at 500!!

I wanted to raise for the research of all cancers because that way scientist are turning breakthroughs made in the lab into new treatments for patients all over the UK. Their work has helped ensure that survival rates in the UK have doubled in the last 40 years and remains the world´s leading charity dedicated to saving lives through research. Their scientists and doctors have contributed to most of the world´s top cancer drugs and pioneered and helped revolutionize the use of radiotherapy to treat cancer.

Personally I would love them to look more into the prevention stage!

So be aware, I might take on the Shine 2014 marathon!!
