Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am currently assembling an adventure by Brompton (folding Bike) to raise money for The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution, which is a charity providing support for members of the farming community who are in need, throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Here you can see how and who they have helped:(previously: http://rabi.org.uk/about/real-life-stories/)
Myself and a good friend (who is raising money for Cancer Research UK) will ride through the notoriously hilly Swiss countryside on two custom built Brompton Bikes (kindly supplied to us by Brompton Bicycles). We plan to ride from Basel to Lake Como in April 2017.
We are a team, consisting of two riders. James did a sponsored ride back in 2013 from London to Zakynthos – 2754K in under 23 days, which raised over £6000.00 for The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution, and has done various triathlons & races since. Richard is new to the cycling world and is just recovering from cancer, which should add to the challenge we have ahead.
In the lead up to the trip James will be commuting in London on the fully kitted bike with all sponsors - raising awareness for the trip. Whilst Richard will be riding the hills in Nottingham and Ireland. We plan to do 5 documented rides before we head off in April.
We would really appreciate it if you could dig as deep as possible for this incredible cause.r sponsors so far include:
