Story
I am grateful for getting the opportunity to run the iconic London Marathon for Mind Charity. Mind is closer to my heart as they are working relentlessly to provide support for everyone experiencing mental health problems. I have had my own share of mental health issues over the years (anxiety, depression) and at the lowest point of my mental health issues, I started running and it did me a world of good over the last couple of years.
When you're experiencing a mental health problem, supportive and reliable information can change your life. That's what Mind Charity does. They empower people to understand their condition and their choices through Infoline and Legal line.
The pandemic in the last 2 years has accelerated the need for more mental health support due to the impact it had on people across all walks of life. People who struggled before now struggle more and many are finding it hard to cope. Hence, there is an urgent and compelling need for Mind to get the support it needs to support people to overcome their mental health problems.
