We demonstrate and inspire positive action to respond to the planetary emergency

Story

I am Vedhant, I am 12 years old, and I would like you to take a minute to read my message!

We are living in strange times and the value of nature is becoming clearer.
Nature came alive during lockdown, and I saw more birds in my garden and more bugs in my bug hotel.

This made me realise that small things could make a big difference in the environment around me. Charity begins from home, they say.

So, I helped my parents build 6 raised beds filled with vegetables. We grew them all organically and this has attracted more creatures than we have ever seen before!

Our garden, over lockdown, is now a home to 2 huge black beetles, a curious visiting fox, a frog, a hedgehog, a couple of ladybirds, a few bats and some slugs. See the pictures for more...

I have created a how-to video on bird feeders https://youtu.be/SPanxJH9qyU to inspire you to help the living world around you and bring them closer...I challenge you to do it as well, as it has been so rewarding!

I have been inspired by Eden Project to make this change.

I have also created my own (very first on Youtube) Minecraft version of the Eden Project https://youtu.be/N0zvi0Lvf3U and will be sharing a virtual tour of it here! I believe that this will inspire others like me to explore the project and their activities. So do watch my video tour!

About Eden Project:

The Eden Project has the world’s largest biome- named the Eighth Wonder of the World by few , Eden is a dramatic global garden housed in tropical biomes that nestle in a crater the size of 30 football pitches. https://www.edenproject.com/ It connects people with each other and the living world, exploring how they can work towards a better future. Eden is an educational charity and also a visitor attraction with its home in a transformed quarry in Cornwall. During the lockdown, they lost about £5 million in revenue!

Such a project needs our help during these crazy times to carry on their good work! They won’t have concerts and programmes running any more. :(

This is my small way of helping them. To read more, click on

So please help me - watch my how-to and video tour and pictures, share the message with others, donate and join me in saying…

I will for nature and I will for Eden Project!
