Story
Wildlife rangers risk their lives everyday across the globe to protect endangered wildlife. They work in difficult conditions with passion and determination to stop poaching and illegal activity. Sadly, 100 or more rangers are killed each year leaving behind families and loved ones.
These brave men and women are now in desperate need of our help to carry on protecting wildlife during the COVID19 Pandemic.
Tourism plays a huge part in funding conservation activities, and at this time there is little prospect of tourism returning any time soon.
So my goal is to raise as much money as possible to help continue to pay for salaries and equipment for rangers so they can continue their important work in the absence of paying tourists.
By supporting this cause not only do you help rangers and their families continue to be able to work but the funds raised will help take pressure off the charities and private enterprises that have lost significant revenue from tourism.
Tusk is a great organisation based in Dorset with amazing connections to conservation organisations in Africa. They will be helping me distribute funds to those ranger groups most in need.
