Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the hospice is predicted to lose a high amount of their income due to the restrictions on their regular income streams. Fundraising events have been postponed and the charity shops remain closed.

By creating the Rainbow Raffle, we thought this would be an excellent opportunity to promote and support local businesses and raise vital funds for our local charity - we are all in this together.

The care that the team at St David’s Hospice provides is second to none, the clinical team are working extremely hard to support the community, ensuring patients are comfortable during this unprecedented time.

It is £5 per entry. This is done through our JustGiving page (link). We then need you to send confirmation of your donation/entry to our Facebook page privately, you will then be issued with your numbers. Please note that we are going to limit entries to 4 numbers per person to make this fair.

We have decided to use JustGiving, as monies raised from the Rainbow Raffle will automatically be transferred to St David’s Hospice.

JustGiving does state that making a donation in return for tickets (raffles, events and auctions) or goods and services (including ‘experience’ days) are NOT eligible for Gift Aid. This is because they are not 'freewill' gifts - you will be getting something in return for your donation.

Therefore, if you are a tax payer and would like to purchase raffle tickets and make an additional donation we would encourage you make two separate transactions.

Terms and Conditions
