Rae was inspired to donate her hair 18 months ago after hearing about the charity. She has been growing her hair ever since with her 7th birthday as the goal to donate her hair to the charity to make wigs for children that have lost their own hair. 

Rae says "I know that looks aren't important, it is about what is on the inside but children also need feel confident. If cutting my hair helps just one little princess feel more confident and special then it will be worth it"
