I decided to enter the Manchester 10k race in May to do my bit for charity in 2011...so I bought the purple (of course!) trainers....and the training is underway! Can't say I'm smiling all the time I'm running....but at least I am running!

I am raising money for Christie's, as those of you who know me well will understand that cancer charities in general ,and especially Christie's where my mum was treated for breast cancer (twice!), are very close to my heart.

I appreciate times are really tough for everyone at the moment, but would really appreciate it if lots and lots of you could sponsor me just a little then that would add up to lots....wouldn't it??!!
