During the last few years I have seem too many members of my family suffering with the heart ache that comes with the death of their new born loved one or the worry with complications during the early years. 

All of us can imagine the sadness and desperation of the parents who lose a baby and the life shattering impact of a seriously ill mother or child.

My funds raised from this trek will go directly to support the;

○ Prevention of premature labour

○ Further development of screening for genetical diseases

○ Improving the health of women and babies.

I am completing this trek with the knowledge that the funds I raise helping to prevent another family experiencing this tragedy and will care for a little one when they are in need.

This charity lies at the heart of the most profound of human wishes : to have a happy and healthy family.

Despite countless breakthroughs in medical science we still do not know why some pregnancies will end in tragedy. You can help this hy raising funds to support vital medical research which is really making a huge difference to people starting a family and to babies who have difficulties at the start of life.
