Hi everyone.... Thank you everyone who has sponsored me so far..... But I'd you haven't please can you dig deep.... Not for me... But for you, your family and your friends! Xxxx

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page

This year has been a year that I will never forget, for over 10 years I have lived with constant pain in my lower back. I have been on prescription pain killers, steroids and anti-inflammatory tablets. Very often I would be awake for hours at night, and it could take up to 20 minutes to go to the bathroom. I was informed nearly 3 years ago at the age of 39 that if I did not exercise every day I could be in a wheelchair within 10 years.

I was diagnosed with Alkaloid Spondylitis... and chronically Ill. This in simple terms means I have too much protein in my blood and my immune system overworks to causing immolation in the lower back. This attack's bone marrow and long term causes Osteoarthritis.

My life changed in November 2011 when I was finally accepted on to the Anti -TNF programme.... this is a medication where I inject medication once a fortnight and have monthly blood tests.

Within 4 weeks I came off the other drugs and slept through the night. My pain has improved by 80%. I am so happy I have started to feel 'no pain', something I thought would never happen. I will be on this medication for the rest of my life, costing over £10k of NHS funds. I will never be cured however the pain will be managed.

I will be running the Bupa 10K in order to raise money for Arthritis Research Care to say thank you for help changing my life but to also raise money to keep helping others.
