I got to the big '50'and decided to take a change in direction of life – I was at a crossroads and decided to take a turn – I confess it was a little scary but together with the philosophy and strong belief that 'Life is for Living – Go See Do' that turn was the right turn and the best thing I decided to do. One of those things 'to do' was to fulfill my yearn to fall 10,000ft through the skies in a Tandem Skydive.

In June 2017 I hope to fulfil my dream.

Cancer is an awful disease that touches far too many lives today.

Twenty-one years ago my dear Dad, Donald Probets lost his life to Bowel Cancer – he was only 67 – retirement was cruelly snatched away for him and his life was cut short far too soon leaving a huge amount of sadness and big gap in the lives of the family he left behind.

Since then many family and friends have been touched by this awful disease.

By combining and fulfilling a lifelong ambition in honour of my dear Dad and raising funds for Bowel Cancer UK  I hope I can help prevent further lives being taking away too soon and it will help to save and prolong lives for all those who are touched by this awful disease and allow them a future which they can enjoy with  their children and their childrens children and take pleasure in seeing them grow up.
