NEWS FLASH..............

On Sunday 16th May, Rachel, Nigel and Fred completed the London Thames Bridges walk for Headway North West London in 2 hours 30 minutes. Together we have raised over £1,700, and we are very grateful to all our donors. Your sponsorship will make a huge impact to activities at Headway NW London. We are aiming to raise a total of £2,000, and for those who would still like to make a donation, our Justgiving pages will be open for a few more weeks.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page for Headway North West London.

In May 2004 my brother Nigel was struck down with a brain haemorrhage, whilst at work as an accountant. He was in a coma for a few weeks, but fortunately survived. It took many months of rehabilitation, but after two years Nigel went back to work three days a week, and started to drive again. He is now living independently again, enjoying life, especially watching his beloved sports !

Headway supports those with acquired brain injuries, and it is thanks to them, and Rehab UK, that Nigel has made the progress he has, back to a normal life.

Nigel, Fred (our Dad) and I are all participating in a sponsored walk for Headway, over 10 London Thames bridges. This walk takes place on Sunday 16th May 2010, from Vauxhall to Tower Bridge. It would be greatly appreciated by us and Headway North West London, if you were able to sponsor the walk. Any amount will help the work Headway do in supporting people affected by acquired brain injury.
