Rob was a dear husband, father, son, brother and friend to many. He was a true gentleman with the most generous and kind heart. 

Rob devastatingly suffered an aortic dissection on 27/04/2022, only weeks after his 53rd birthday at the beginning of the month. He was rushed to hospital where he received open heart surgery the same day. However, only a week later Rob passed away, on 04/05/2022, leaving behind his beloved wife, three young boys, two step-children and his mum and brother.

The goal of this fundraiser, in memory of Rob, is to spread awareness of the condition, increase research and improve the treatments and early detection techniques - all with the hope of mitigating the lives lost from aortic dissections in the future.
