One of the main reasons that I wanted to apply for the ICS Tearfund scheme is that I feel as though I have been very blessed in my life: blessed to have been born into a country where education and health care are just given; blessed to have been born into a Christian community where values of love, friendship, forgiveness and hope are of vital importance; blessed to have been given so many amazing opportunities at such a young age. And I feel it would be such a waste, of what I have been so fortunate to have handed to me on a plate, not to spread and share that as much as possible, with those who are not as blessed as I am.

The minimum target is £1500, but I would love to be able to smash that for such a wonderful charity as Tearfund!

All monies raised go directly to Tearfund as the costs of my trip are covered by the ICS scheme.
