On 23 October I’m running the Birmingham half marathon for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.  

Back in 1980s my Dad was diagnosed with Lymphoblastic Leukaemia – a rare form of the cancer in adults, which he survived and lived to tell the tale! Therefore I’m attempting to raise money for a very worthwhile charity!

As many of you will know – I’m no runner – however I’ve been training my little legs now for quite some time and with a bit of luck I should cross the finishing line!
