Land's End to John O'Groats Static Cycle in 24hr · 12 January 2018

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The Division 7 Leadership Team are undertaking a mammoth 24hr static bike ride commencing Friday 12th Jan at 13:00 in the Divisional Office.

They are aiming to ride the equivalent distance from Land's End to John O'Groats in a 24hr period.  That's 814 miles!!! which according to Google Maps is the shortest distance.

The team are headed up by the boss Dominic Hegan (DGM), Rachael Squire (Divisional Co-rdinator)

Functional Team: Neal Cadden, Tony Edwards, and Gary Prescott

RDM's: Fraser Perman, Louis Purchase, Tony Donnelly, Matt Hussain, Sam Ghafar, and Ben Worsey

HR: Sara Randall, Stuart Sneddon and Emma Geddes

Delivery Manager: Jason Hixson

We will be cycling through the night and finishing off riding at the Mall, Bristol, Cribbs Causeway on the morning of Saturday 13th Jan.

At the Mall, not only will we be hoping to get more donations, we will also be promoting information about the Stroke Association, giving out free gym passes and undertaking free blood pressure testing.  All in an effort to raise awareness about healthy hearts to minimize the risk of stroke.  Please come and join us!

Please give generously to our activity so that we can raise even more money for the Stroke Association, our charity partner for the year and a very worthy cause.
