Story
So here we are... nearly 4 weeks before the marathon. And I am ... terrified. Run a marathon, they said. You'll feel amazing for doing it, they said. But, right now, I am panicking, and the only thing keeping my feet still pounding those pavements is that I'm running it for an amazing charity. I'm running for Age UK Brighton and Hove because they're a fantastic and vital charity supporting so many elderly and often isolated people in Brighton and Hove, through a huge range of social activities, counselling, care, advocacy support, and helping people in crisis. Through my work as an Occupational Therapist in the community in Brighton and Hove I come across people everyday who do/or would benefit from the great services they offer.
I'd so appreciate any donation you can spare! And anyone who wants to come support on the day (15th April 2018), I'll be the red faced one in the Age UK shirt!
Thank you!!
