Story
This June I will be cycling from London to Brighton to raise money for the British Heart Foundation in memory of my Dad. The ride takes place on Father's Day, just a few days before the first anniversary of his death, so I hope it will be a great way to spend the day thinking of him and raising money for this great cause. The treatments and technology that are now available to help treat heart disease helped to give me more time not only with my Dad but also my Nan and I would like to raise as much money as possible for the BHF so they can continue to prevent heart disease but also research and invest in these treatments so others can benefit from more time with their loved ones too.
As most of you know I also broke my ankle last year and as I am only just properly back on my feet taking on this challenge could be pretty interesting! There are also a few big hills along the way that should make it even more fun! So please give what you can to help me up those hills and give to a great cause that is close to my heart (pun intended).
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thanks,
