I have joined a group of fantastic persuasive ladies cycling over 4 days from London to Paris. Those that are aware of the challenge, will already know that none of us are cyclists and didn't own a bike, yet alone think that it was possible to undertake this challenge. Off we went to see the gang at Giant in Swansea to get all the gear. All the gear no idea as they say! Next to training at cycle specific in cross hands, to make sure that we can ride a bike and give us the techniques to get all the way to Paris. Training has been so hard but amazing so far.

Hayley Davies is president of the Swansea Bay Business Club for the next two years and has set the target of raising £20,000 through various challenges. The funds raised on the cycle to Paris will go towards this target and to Ty Hafan.

Tŷ Hafan is one of the UK’s leading paediatric palliative care charities and offers care to children and support for their families, throughout Wales.

They offer comfort, care and support to life-limited children, young people and their families in the hospice, in the community and in their home so they can make the most of the time they have left together.
