As a few people may know my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time this year. After many operations and eventually opting for a double mastectomy. I’m very very lucky to still have my mum here.

The breast unit in the Western General did everything in their power to look after my mum and support her through this process. From before the operation to the support given after, it all helped massively.

Me and Callum have decided to do Sober October to give something back to the unit that did so so much for my mum. The money raised will go towards making patients as comfortable as possible while they’re in the unit, towards research and more. Any donations would be appreciated whether it’s 50p or £1!
