Hi Everyone,
I'm turning 30 at the end of February and would like to mark the occasion by doing something special whilst raising money for a good cause in the process.
With this in mind I have decided to run 100km over the 28 days in February. As someone who has never been too keen on running for leisure, this presents a great challenge for me.
The charity I have chosen to raise for is the AFC Community Trust. As a lifelong Aberdeen fan, it's amazing to see what an impact they have had in the community. The work they have done to support disadvantaged children in education and through helping them become more active in the process is exceptional. They have also gone above and beyond to support the community during COVID-19 which has benefitted many through this difficult time.
I've been guilty recently of not doing enough for my overall health through exercise and this is something I'm determined to change. Thank you so much in advance for any support you are prepared to give as I know it's not the easiest time for anyone. I will be making regular updates on the page and will link my Strava account as well so you know I'm not cheating!
