Story
Izak is 11 years old. Since birth he has faced many challenges. He was diagnosed with aspergers autism age 3 . He was diagnosed with dyslexia age 7. Since 2010 he was diagnosed with Epilepsy. He regularly suffers many types of seizures. Last count close to 560. He has no warning no triggers no prediction before seizures or absence takes hold. He regularly suffers night seizures - imagine the first sound you hear during the night is your child choking , as a seizure takes hold while asleep. Loss of speech bodily functions and consciousness. He also suffers Gran Mal drop seizures , many which have occurred during daytime in and around primary school. Epilepsy renders my son to an exhausted state , where his body shuts down into deep sleep to recover. Throughout all of his personal challenges daily , he never ever gives up! He never lets anything stop him or beat him. He aims high and he wants to do this sponsored swim to raise awareness and funds for a charity very close to our hearts . Please help support Izak in his fundraising efforts , it will bring a Cheshire Cat smile from ear to ear if you can.
