Thank you for taking the time to visit my Race for Life 2008 fundraising page.

Well I ran the race today, in the 30 degree sweltering heat!  The atmosphere was - as always - emotional but the determination of every single woman there was to go the distance, despite the heat.

I managed to cross the finish line in 36 minutes.  Slower than I had hoped to do but with the heat, I had to run and walk, I was too exhausted to run the whole way round.

People are STILL sponsoring me so I don't know how much I have raised yet but I have exceeded my target by more than DOUBLE so far so I just want to say a HUGE thank you to every single person who sponsored me.  Without you all, I would not have been able to raise this amazing amount of money for Cancer Research UK.

Here's to the Race for Life 2009!!  I will be there - will you?
