Hi there,

I might well be tempted to spend some time in Wormwood Scrubs (rather than running past, well lets be honest wheezing past it) to get me out of the race.

It is however not the marathon so quite frankly I will be getting my arse into gear, slipping on some suitable gear and most probably bollocking my great friend Caroline throughout . It is however for a great cause so I shall keep my dignity in touch, most probably have a rather good time and look forward to half a shandy if in a particularly naughty mood.

I will be running/fast walking/limping it in memory of my much loved para step-mother Maria Aldrete who very sadly died earlier this year . I can hear her roaring with laughter at the thought. 

I would love to raise a decent amount so please do give what you can.

Family members and good friends out there please do not be stingy :-)

To put it in perspective:

£1 -hmm

£5- less than 1 pack of fags, a decentish bottle of wine, 3 bus journeys , a very little shopping but a good start. 

£10 - more like it.

£20- A pub lunch, very little towards the bills but alot towards a great charity. 

£50- in shock but very much appreciated.

Just mere examples above as any amount greatly appreciated for such a superb cause.
