I just wanted to help (just a little) by lolloping round a field to raise money for this amazing charity. My good friend Doreen has suffered two bouts of cancer with patience and dignity having undergone chemo and radiotherapy and life threatening complications and has now got the all clear for the next six months. However, her beautiful daughter in law Lorraine who had only been married for two years lost her life to cancer in March this year. If only there had been more research in to her particular cancer. The family have been amazing getting through this terrible time and I take my hat off to them! Doreen and I are doing this Race for Life together in High Wycombe on 24th July in the hope that we can raise the much needed funds.
