As those who know me will be aware Cancer Research UK is a charity very close to my heart. I race in memory of Rob, my best friends daddy, and also in memory of my Grandad Bernard. :)

I am a Cancer Research UK volunteer, and take part in the race for life every year, as well as planning fundraising activities at Talis (my employer). I am adding all the funds I raise to the Talis Totaliser which currently stands at over £2000!!

Having recently discovered I had CIN3 pre cancerous cervical cells and with all the publicity around Jade Goody at the moment, this has made me even more determined to get fit and raise even more money this year! The training starts again today and I am hoping to lose a few pounds in the process!! :)
