Story
I am doing the race for life as cancer is something that everybody has in common, everyone has been affected by it in one way or another, whether they have had it themselves, their friend or family member has suffered from it or even knowing someone far out like the neighbour down the road whose friend has died, it still affects people as it is such an emotive subject...this could be because most people think, could it be me one day? Cancer is extremely common and even though their have been breakthroughs in some way, with improvements in certain drugs for particular cancers there still is no cure and there still are many cancers that even top scientists don't have knowledge on. Research is key, and this costs a lot of money!! So dig deep and help me to donate. I know walking (or in my case shuffling) 5k isn't far, its still baby steps to helping people affected by cancer. Even getting together to show support for those who have been affected can make a difference! If you aren't taking part, show support by donating something, (minimum is only £2, if this is too much see me in purpose to donate less!) it can make a big difference (especially if u gift aid it so tick the box please!) Thank you in advance for any donations..I am doing it this year in memory of my beloved grandma who died from pancreatic cancer which is one in particular that needs more knowledge on. In return for your kind donations i will upload pics which will most likely be of my with a big red face and blisters on my feet :)
