Story

Thank you for visiting my Race for Life sponsorship page. After a four year break (and two children later) i have dusted off my running shoes and will be running the race for life at Heaton Park on 22/07/12. This year i will be running for a brave and beautiful young lady, Eloise Smith. Ellie is just 15 years old and was in the middle of sitting her G.C.S.E’s when a couple of weeks ago she found a lump in her neck, shortly after she was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, a type of cancer that unfortunately is very common in teenagers. Ellie has now started treatment and we wish her well with this and a speedy recovery, she has shown immense bravery and courage for someone of such a young age and i have been inspired to run this race for her.  For Ellie, and the many many more that suffer from this awful disease i am asking for your support so please dig  deep and sponsor me online - it's quick, easy and totally secure.

Events like Race for Life are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me now you can help more people survive cancer.

 Gift Aid it!

If you are a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box when donating as this will increase your donation by at least 25% at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.
