Well, despite the freezing fog and torrential rain, I spent Sunday morning down at the beach in Aberdeen running the 5K for Cancer Research UK.

Being with so many other women, all running for the same cause, was inspirational and really kept me running. So many people who had lost friends and loved ones to cancer, and so many more celebrating their own or a relative's triumph over it, made me realise just how this disease touches everyone's lives in some way.
