Help more people beat cancer
I haven't ever done the Race For Life before, however decided this year it was time to stop thinking about it, and actually do it. Whilst I haven't experienced the sadness at losing a loved one to cancer, a number of family members have beaten cancer - my nan and grandad to name a couple. Also, my training as a nurse has led me into a number of cancer patients and the difficulties they face, and I'd like to try and raise as much money as possible so I can try and do my bit to help, and we can start making a difference in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer - which can be life-saving.
Bearing in mind I'm not the best at running, this will be a huge challenge, but definitely one I'm willing to try! My aim is to run the whole thing - so I best start training!
Thankyou so much in advance to anyone who sponsors me - I'm extremely grateful - even the smallest amount can help :)
I'm running on the 17th July, at Houghton Hall in King's Lynn!
Thanks to everyone who helps,
Jess xxxxx
