Cancer, we're coming to get you!

Thank you for visiting my Race for Life sponsorship page. We had a good run at Wadebridge, lots of lovely support from volunteers and a fantastic band which really helped to get us around. Good weather for the run, except for the high wind! Lovely when it's behind you, not so great when we were running into it.

I'm especially proud of Alisha doing so well after a week of long rehearsals and 5 performances of Grease!!

We hadn't managed to do much training at all, but that's the great thing about Race for life, it's a very manageable 5K which we were able to do with some walking between the 'gentle' running. We didn't go for speed this time, went for getting around together, with all our friends and family who have been affected by cancer in our thoughts.

Events like Race for Life are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me, we can unite and create a force that cancer can't ignore.
