Well I bet you never thought you'd see this! - Jane running!!!

I've always been interested in Race for Life, but never really imagined I would be doing it one day!

I'm taking this seriously too!  I am currently in training, and hope to run the entire 5k.  I know it's not a marathon, but with two small children, running is not part of my everyday life!  (Well, except the quick sprint to school 2 mins before the bell goes!)

I have been affected by cancer in my life.  Not myself, I am grateful to say, but I have lost an Aunt and a Cousin to cancer, I have an Uncle who is battling at the moment, and another Aunt who has recently been given the all clear.  (Hurrah!)  We also lost a good friend of the family to Cancer this time last year, and have an inspirational friend who is currently undergoing surgery for the disease.

Please help me to raise a little amount of money, to enable me to say I am doing something to help.
