Story
As most of you will my know my Dad, Mel Williamson, was diagnosed with lymphoma May last year, and passes away at the beginning of December. When he fund out, he insisted that we didn’t deal with it by being upset or sombre, but that we should handle the whole thing with humour and, pardon the phrase, taking the piss. He was a larger than life character, in more ways than one. My Dad was an immensely kind and generous person, always keen to support those he loved, and indeed all those he met. And always keen to do anything he could for charity.
That is why this year I am taking part in the Race for Life, not only to carry on his spirit, but also to raise money for a charity that does so many things to help and support those affected by Cancer.
