Story
The Royal Air Force (RAF) Central Fund is an independent charity that supports serving RAF personnel through grant funding to enable them to take part in sports and physical activities at all levels. The Fund wants everyone in the RAF regardless of their role, rank, physical ability or competing level to have access to sports facilities, equipment, and training and through our support we help to safeguard their health and wellbeing.
The RAF ski team should be heading to Chile in August to complete 2 weeks of speed training, in preparation from Inter Services and to offer team members and often once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the physical and mental challenges that come with speed training.
Due to Covid-19 this is now cancelled, so the team is going to run, cycle and bunny hope their way across the 7541 miles to the resort of Corralco in Chile where the camp usually takes place.
