Story
In memory of Quicksill Heather Belle, Aka Minnie. Registered Dales Pony
On 30th May 2012, I lost my beautiful little girl to Equine Grass Sickness. Minnie was born that exact day 6 years ago. Not only was she incredibly beautiful but she had a heart of gold and was my little princess. Minnie was every little girls' dream pony. In June 2005, I lost my childhood pony Poppy. I was devastated after losing Poppy and I wished for our grey broodmare Misty to breed us a little grey filly foal; in 2006, Misty did exactly that and gave us Minnie. She was the most kind and caring pony, everyone that knew her instantly fell in love with her.
Minnie was the most precious thing to me and after losing her to Grass Sickness I plan on raising as much money as possible to support this charity.
*Grass sickness causes damage to parts of the nervous system which control involuntary functions, producing the main symptom of gut paralysis. It remains a major cause of mortality in horses and ponies in Britain with more than 95% of cases proving fatal. The cause of Grass Sickness is still unknown and research cannot be furthered without the help and support from donations*
