Story
This summer many club members were supposed to be attending Euro 2020, which has unfortunately been delayed due to COVID-19.
To compensate for the now negated consumption of copious pints and many hours of watching international footy over the period between the 12th June and 12th July, the Football Club has decided to opt for a healthier alternative during this time and help contribute towards a fantastic cause organised by FBB by covering a minimum of 1500km and raise £1500 in the process, hopefully even more.
This initiative will be the start of our pre-season and any run, cycle or walk logged will help contribute towards our total.
The FBB Virtual School provides weekly academic coaching, 1 to 1 therapeutic support and inspiring creative projects for over 350 young people. It has now been running successfully for almost two months. Young people in FBB will not be returning to a normal school routine until September at the earliest, and we want to continue providing this vital support over the Summer.
Anything you can give to support the cause will be greatly appreciated, we will be posting weekly updates on the fitness side of things, hopefully the distance covered will increase each week as the lads brush off the cobwebs!
