Lisa, KG and Zoe are being joined this year by Bernie, Tracie, Jeni and Shelley in raising money for the Pied Piper Appeal, by taking part in this rather long(!) but nevertheless enjoyable and rewarding 25-mile walk.

After completion two year ago there were blisters galore and some of us (KG) were burnt to a crisp. The terrain of the walk is varied and more of an adventure than a straightforward, albeit prolonged, stroll. The sense of achievement in succeeding the course and knowing you are making such a differance to the children in the Shire and beyond most certainly cancels out any aches and pains you may acquire on the day and we'd love to exceed any target we set ourselves.

The Pied Piper Appeal was started in 1992 to improve the lives of sick children in Gloucestershire. Initially created to fund a new children’s hospital for the county, the Appeal now reaches out to help sick children from across Gloucestershire in many different ways.
