Story
On the 3rd of May this year the world lost one of life's true gentlemen at the age of 47 to cancer. From a personal point of view I lost one of my closest friends. Others - more importantly - lost a son, brother and uncle. The space on this page is wholly inadequate to eulogise about the high regard I had for Steve and the impact his passing has had on my life and the lives of countless others. I feel both honoured and privileged to call Steve my friend and whilst he is gone he will never be forgotten.
Many of you may unfortunately have experience of Macmillan and the support they provide to patients and families alike. Many of you - more unfortunately - may have that to come later in your lives. The lucky ones may only hear of this excellent organisation through the experiences, words and stories of those around them.
Macmillan provide invaluable support at a difficult time with a dignity and professionalism surpassed by none. This is obviously expensive to maintain so any support you can give - no matter how large or small - would be very appreciated. To maximise the benefit that this charity receives from your donation, please remember to tick the gift aid box!!!.
On behalf of myself and the rest of the team, thank you for taking the time to read these words and if you would like to sponsor us that would be fantastic.
