We Will Walk 500 Miles!

The Trustees of Project WHY UK will be walking 500 miles in 21days to raise money for food packages for those in need living in the slums of New Delhi.

Story

As you may have seen in the media, the threat of Corona-virus in the India is high- there are similar lock-down procedures as in the UK, however due to being the most densely populated places on Earth, there is very high risk. For those living in poverty, this risk is amplified due to crowded living conditions, inadequate sanitation and limited "safe" places to obtain food.Through our links with Project WHY, we will fund food care packages to families living within the slums of New Delhi. Each £700 will provide food for around 100 families who are struggling to access necessities. We aim to walk 500 miles over 21 days using our allocated daily exercise to achieve this challenge! The Covdi-19 pandemic has affected the world over, and whilst this time is difficult for all of us, you sponsorship, no matter how small, will go towards helping those in need. Every penny raised will directly help those in need to access food.
